Bangalore - Mysore - Hassan - Hospet - Hampi - Badami - Goa

Day 01 : Arrive Bangalore
Rose at LalbaghMeet on arrival and transfer to a hotel. Afternoon half-day tour to Iskcon temple - the Krishna Temple is a blend of Modern technology and spiritual harmony, Lalbagh - 240 acres of beautifully sculpted gardens, flowers abound, rare collection of tropical and sub-tropical plants, Vidhana Soudha - this massive building houses the state Legislature and the Secretariat, Bull Temple-Dravidian -Style temple, has a huge monolithic bull is the vahana of Lord Shiva. Overnight at hotel.

Day 02 : Bangalore / Mysore
Morning breakfast, checkout and proceed to Mysore. Mysore is known for its magnificent palaces and majestic buildings, sprawling gardens and treelined boulevards, shimmering silks and sandalwood, the -City Royale- always figures in the tourist-s itinerary. Enroute visit Srirangapatna - Island fortress of Tippu Sultan. Visit Tippu's summer Palace, Mosque, and Srirangapatna Temple. Upon arrival at Mysore, check in at the hotel. Evening visit Chamundi Hill - perched a top a hill-the 4.8m tall monolith of Nandi and the gigantic Mahishasura statue are added attractions. Maharaja Palace - the palace is a splendid structure in the Indo-Saracenic Style, among its many attractions are a magnificent gold throne displayed during the Dusshera celebrations, Later on in the evening visit Brindavan Garden - the Krishna Raja Sagar Dam after sundown, when musical fountains and colored lights transform this place into a magical fairyland Return to hotel and overnight at hotel.

Day 03 : Mysore / Hassan
Morning breakfast, check out and proceed to Hassan, enroute visit Shravanabelagola - The monolithic statue of Lord Gomateshwara, a Jain saint and an object of worship for centuries, standing atop one of the hills. Upon arrival at Hassan, check in at the hotel. Afternoon visit Belur - The most photographed and perhaps the best and they are a must on every tourist's temple itinerary and Halebid - the temple, perched on a star-shaped base amidst lawns, is a sculptural extravaganza. Overnight at hotel.

Day 04 : Hassan / Hospet
HospetEarly morning breakfast, checkout and proceed to Hospet. Upon arrival check in at hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 05 : Hospet - Hampi - Hospet
After breakfast, drive for a full day excursion to Hampi. The Deccan, a wonderful mysterious almost magical land, strewn with monolithic granite boulders, is a worthy backdrop to the great ruined city, now fittingly a World Heritage site. Two full days sightseeing brings to life the golden age at its height in the reign of Krishnadevaraya - 1509-1529. Drive back to Hospet. Overnight at hotel.

Day 06 : Hospet - Hampi - Hospet
After breakfast, drive to Hampi to enjoy the visits. Visits include the Vittala Temple, its sculpture probably the defining moment of Vijayanagar art. Stop at Hampi Bazaar, now thriving and compare it with the Suke Bazaar, deserted, silent. Also visit the Royal centre with the Lotus Mahal and Elephant Stables.
Later drive back to Hospet. Overnight at hotel.

Day 07 : Hospet - Badami
After breakfast, drive to Badami enroute visiting Pattadakal, a World Heritage site, where temple development started in the early 3rd C. The main temple, the Virupaksha has wonderful, breathtakingly lifelike sculpture taken from the Ramayana and Mahabharata. At Aihole some of the earliest Hindu temple architecture is found and seen developing in intricacy. Later, continue drive to Badami. Upon arrival check in at the hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Overnight at hotel.

Day 08 : Badami
After the breakfast, enjoy the sightseeing of Badami. Famed for its cave complex, Badami was once the capital of the Chalukyan empire. In cave one, dating back to 578AD there is a superb representation of the 18-armed Nataraja striking 81 dancing poses. Cave two, dedicated to Lord Vishnu sees him depicted in dwarf form, as a boar and as Lord Krishna. Cave three is the highlight - a tour into the art and culture of the 6th C. Finally cave four started in the 6th C, is the only Jain cave, where carvings of Tirthankara Parshavanath (with a serpent) and Mahavira can be seen. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 09 : Badami - Goa
After breakfast, drive to Goa to round off the tour and spend a few days relaxing at the beach. Upon arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 10 : Goa
Goa BeachFull day for independent activities. Overnight at the hotel.

Full day for independent activities.Overnight at the hotel.
