Delhi - Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur - Heritage-on-Wheels
01 Day : Arrive Delhi
Arrive
Delhi. On arrival at the Airport, you will meet our representative and be
transferred to Hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel.
02 Day : Delhi
Morning leave for sight-seeing tour of Delhi, which includes visit to Jama
Masjid - the largest mosque of Emperor Shahjahan. Later proceed to Raj Ghat-
cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi, to India Gate - a 42 meter stone arch
built in the memory of the Indian Soldiers who died in World War I, Drive
past the President's House & Parliament House and the Qutab Minar.
Overnight stay at Hotel.
03 Day : Delhi - Agra
Morning drive to Agra (203 kms / 4 hrs). Upon arrival transfer to the
Hotel. Afternoon visit world famous "Taj Mahal" the monument of
love immortalized in marble. It was built by Emperor Shah Jahan in the
memory of his Queen Mumtaj. Agra Fort dominated by red sandstone
construction & houses the beautiful Pearl Mosque and other noteworthy
structures. Overnight stay at Hotel.
04 Day : Agra - Fatehpur Sikri - Jaipur
Morning drive to Jaipur (232 kms / 5 hrs). Enroute visiting Fatehpur Sikri
the deserted, red sandstone city, Emperor Akbar built that as his capital
and palace in the late 16th century is an exhilarating experience. Upon
arrival check in at Hotel. Evening you may explore the Colourful local
markets of Jaipur by own. Overnight stay at Hotel.
05 Day: Jaipur - Heritage-on-Wheels
Morning
visit Amber Fort on elephant back / Jeep. Amber Fort was the ancient capital
of the State. Visit the Sheesh Mahal or the Hall of Victory glittering with
mirrors. Evening transfer to the Railway-station to board the Luxury Train
Heritage-on-Wheels. The train leaves Jaipur at around 19.30 hrs. Overnight
on Heritage on Wheels.
06 Day : Heritage-on-Wheels (Bikaner - Haat - Gajner - Arrival in
Bikaner)
Activities such as sightseeing, camel ride etc are provided. Overnight on
board.
07 Day : Heritage-on-Wheels (Tal Chhapar - Ramgarh - Mandawa -
Nawalgarh)
Sightseeing at each place. Overnight on Heritage on Wheels.
08 Day : Heritage-on-Wheels - Arrive Jaipur
The train arrives at Jaipur Station at 06.30 hrs. Breakfast is served on
board. Later transfer to the Hotel. Afternoon leave for city tour visiting
City Palace and Museum. Nearby is the ornate Hawa Mahal (Palace of winds)
which is five stories high and is decorated with delicate screens carved
from stone. Also visit Jantar Mantar Observatory, which is still equipped
with immense, brick and mortar instrument. Overnight stay at Hotel.
09 Day : Jaipur - Delhi
Morning drive to Delhi (252 kms / 5 hrs). Upon arrival transfer to the
hotel. Rest of the day free for leisure. Overnight stay at Hotel.
10 Day : Delhi - Out
Morning transfer to the International Airport to connect flight for onward
destination.
