A 14-acre bird sanctuary, is situated on the eastern banks of Vembanand river. An avian place comprising different kinds of birds like herons, egrets, darters, teals, waterfowl, cuckoo, owl, water duck and the migratory Siberian cranes.

Aruvikkuzhi waterfalls
Located just 2 kms from Kumarakom, this is believed to be a very beautiful and enjoyable spot . Make a trip to these waterfalls to mingle with nature at its best.
